Summary of the Telephone

The Telephone was a device that lets you communicate long distances with someone. This worked by sending voice patterns in electronic form down a wire. The Telephone was invented by Alexander Graham Bell in March 10, 1876. The first words ever spoken on a Telephone were "Mr. Watson, come here. I want to see you." The Telephone became a reality because Bell wanted to improve upon the telegraph.

Alexander Graham Bell was born on March 3, 1847, in Edinburgh, Scotland. Bell's education was mostly received from him doing his own experiments. He had about 18 patents. He invented the telephone with a man named watson. 12 of bell's patents were from inventions he did not invent all by himself those patents were with collaborators. Bell's telephone business became so large that the government had to split up his monopoly.

How the Telephone impacted socity

The Telephone greatly impacted society. Because it made it possible to tell your friends and family something or to make plans without having to leave your house. The telephone also greatly impacted business because business owners could make deals or agreements over the phone. The Telephone also started a problem people began to prefer the phone to face to face conversations. over time people became more and more shy and isolated.

How life would be today without the Telephone

Without the telephone we would not have online voice chat like skype,
Teamspeak,Mumble and Ventrilo. Another thing that would be different is we would
get a lot less done,Because we would have to waste time talking to people.
